Notice of Road Closure and Detour for Bridge Construction

(Lacombe County, Alberta, August 13, 2025) Lacombe County will begin bridge replacement

work on Bridge File 6989, located at NW 33-41-27 W4M (tributary to Whelp Brook), starting

August 21, 2025. As part of this project, sections of Twp Rd 415B, Rge Rd 273A and Twp Rd 415

will be closed to through traffic and accessible to local traffic only. The road closures are

necessary to safely complete the construction of the bridge.

The project is expected to be completed by September 22, 2025, weather permitting. Detour

routes will be clearly marked, and signage will be in place to guide motorists around the

construction area. Lacombe County reminds all drivers to obey posted signage and use caution

when travelling in the area.
