On Wednesday, April 8, Hanna RCMP responded to a report of a trespasser refusing to leave a local business at closing. The subject was described as disoriented, dressed entirely in brown, approximately two feet tall and weighing around 40 pounds.

An officer attended and used calm de-escalation techniques. The subject may have been attempting to take firewood from the entrance for home-building purposes, though this remains unconfirmed.

After some coaxing, the individual was peacefully- escorted out. No force was used, no charges were laid and the subject’s identity is unknown.

A photo has been released in case of further sightings. The subject is not considered dangerous -- though his tail was notably large.
