Lloydminster RCMP lays firearms-related charges

On Nov. 10, 2025, Lloydminster RCMP responded to a report of 2 males suffering from gunshot injuries at the Lloydminster Hospital. Police confirmed that the injuries were non-life threatening. Through the investigation police learned that the incident was targeted and a gang related. Police located the scene of the shooting and subsequently located an involved vehicle.
With the assistance of the Lloydminster RCMP General Investigation Section and Lloydminster RCMP Forensic Identification Section, police executed search warrants and located the firearm believed to have been used in the shooting. With the assistance of the RCMP National Forensic Laboratory Services, police identified a suspect. Attempts to locate Plourde have been unsuccessful and the RCMP has obtained a warrant for his arrest.
As a result of the investigation, Robert Lee Plourde (30), a resident of Turtleford, SK, has been charged with:
Discharge firearm with intent;
Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose;
Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, and;
Possession of a firearm while prohibited (x3).
Lloydminster RCMP is seeking public assistance in locating Plourde who is described as:
Medium complexion;
5 feet, 10 inches;
264 pounds; and
Has tear drop tattoo near his left eye.
