Oyen RCMP charge two for multiple offences

On April 20, 2026, Oyen RCMP responded to a residence after a concerned resident advised two persons were on the property unlawfully. Upon arrival, two male suspects fled on foot. The two males were located close by and arrested, with assistance from neighbouring detachments, Alberta Sheriffs (Fish and Wildlife division) and residents. As a result of the investigation, RCMP recovered the following:
A truck that was stolen out of Stettler
A loaded sawed off shot gun
Jaws of life
Slip tank
A quantity of substances believed to be cocaine and methamphetamine
Numerous other stolen items and break and enter tools.
Robert Wade Jameson (33), a resident of Stettler, Alta., has been charged with 13 offences and Colten Quast-Agema (35), a resident of Lacombe, Alta., was arrested on outstanding warrants from Lacombe Police Service and has also been charged with 15 offences, some of which include:
Break and Enter to a residence
Mischief over $5000
Possession of Stolen Property over $5000
Possession of a controlled substance
Jameson was released on an Undertaking for court on June 24, 2026, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Hanna, Alta. After a Judicial Interim Release Hearing, he was remanded into custody to appear at Alberta Court of Justice in Hanna on May 1, 2026.
