On Dec. 30, 2025, Parkland RCMP received a report that at a gas bar in Spruce Grove, an employee was bear maced while a robbery ensued, and that the suspect fled on foot. Police attended and the victim stated the male suspect demanded money, and the victim complied but that he continued to mace her anyway.

The male suspect is described as:

• 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall;

• Stocky build;

• Wearing glasses;

• Wearing a black jacket, black pants and had a balaclava mask on.

Police are looking for public assistance to identify this individual.
