Buyers gathered at the Stettler Agricultural Society Grounds on March 20 for the Piro & Pieschel 2nd Annual Bull Sale. A complimentary lunch of roast beef, mashed potatoes, salad and desserts, prepared by Teresa’s Catering, was served to many hungry bidders ahead of the 1 p.m. sale. Piro Red Angus, owned and operated by Mike and Jade Zoller and Pius and Rosemarie Zoller, offered 47 bulls this year, while Pieschel Farms, run by Devon and Rae-lee Pieschel, featured a wide selection of Angus bulls along with two heifer bulls from their Simmental line.
