Perhaps Alberta Premier Ernest Manning, Prime Minister Louis St. Laurent , and GG Vincent Massey were too busy to note a small Three Hills church's birth in 1956.

Too bad. They missed a milestone event that sparked seven decades of uninterrupted service which has spread its influence to many corners of Canada and the world.

Happy 70^th birthday Prairie Tabernacle Congregation, locally known as The Tab.

The church's August 8 and 9 open house featured nine history tables in the auditorium, museum-quality artifact displays in the foyer, and an open-air pancake breakfast preceding Pastor Jerred Andreas' Sunday message on the faithfulness of the one true God.
