Two Hills RCMP request public assistance to identify sketched suspect after home invasion

 

Two Hills, Alta. – On Jan. 16, 2026, between 5:30 and 6 p.m., two masked men broke into a rural residence, around Range Road 113 and Township Road 560, within Two Hills County. One of the residents was in the home at the time of the offence. The suspects allegedly struck the resident with an object, committed a crime against a person, and then stole personal property. The resident is recovering from injuries sustained.

 

Both male suspects were wearing mostly black, with one wearing jeans and tan boots. They had odours of cannabis and cigarette smoke, and a more detailed description of one suspect was able to be provided to police. Police have collected video surveillance and a flashlight found near the scene, along with other items which have been sent to Alberta RCMP Forensic Laboratory for analysis. Two Hills RCMP are being assisted by St. Paul RCMP, Eastern Alberta District General Investigation Section, RCMP Police Dog Services and Forensic Identification Services.

 

Two Hills RCMP utilized an RCMP Forensic Facial Imaging Artist to complete a composite sketch of the suspect that is attached. The suspect was described as and wearing:

  • Male;

  • olive to medium skinned;

  • taller than 5 foot 9 inches;

  • around 200 pounds;

  • brown eyes;

  • a noticeable scar, or mark, between his eyebrows;

  • wearing a black hoodie;

  • a black balaclava (*similar photo attached*); and

  • a blue down filled/puffy jacket which had a white logo on the left side of the chest.
