Photo: On Dec. 10 the Bashaw Fire Dept. hosted a supper to celebrate the season and to recognize several of their numbers with awards of achievement. Bashaw Fire Dept. Capt. Stan Holt earned the 12 year service medal and 22 years of service bar. Rural Alberta Report/Submitted


The Bashaw Fire Dept. recently recognized members with awards of achievement. Medals were awarded by Fire Chief Dustin Hemingson and Deputy Fire Chief Alec Dubitz. (both at left). Capt. Stan Holt (far right) earned multiple awards. Ben Wilson (former volunteer firefighter no longer with Bashaw Fire Department) earned the 12 years of service medal along with Mike Andritz (former fire chief, retired, Bashaw Fire Department) who received the 12 year medal and 22 year bar.
