Boyle serious motor vehicle collision - Update

Alberta News

On. Nov. 25, 2025, around 7:24 p.m., Boyle RCMP responded to reports of a collision between three semi trucks on Highway 63 at Range Road 173. Upon arrival, one of the trucks was engulfed in flames. The driver of one of the semi-trucks was brought to the hospital with serious injuries but is expected to survive. Another driver had minor injuries and the third was declared deceased on scene by EMS. The investigation lasted until 8 a.m. on Nov. 26, 2025, and initial findings suggest that poor conditions and visibility were the main factors behind the incident. Highway is set to reopen by late afternoon, once it has been cleared of debris and trucks are recovered by the associated companies.

Alberta RCMP sends their condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
