Drumheller RCMP respond to a single vehicle collision near Morrin

Drumheller, Alta. – On July 31, 2025, at approximately 12:46 P.M., Three Hills RCMP officers responded to an abandoned, rolled vehicle on Highway 27 east of the Morrin Bridge. Upon arrival, a lone male occupant was located. Unfortunately, the driver was declared deceased on scene. Two local fire departments, EMS and Drumheller RCMP members also attended. The incident resulted in the shut down of the highway for several hours while police investigated.
The sole occupant of the sedan was identified as a 17-year-old male from Saskatchewan. There were no other involved vehicles or persons. The circumstances of the collision reman under investigation.
The officers of the Drumheller RCMP send their deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
