On Aug. 14, 2026, at 11:25 p.m., Gleichen RCMP responded to a robbery that occurred at the liquor store, located at 505 Main Street in Gleichen.

Upon arrival, RCMP learned that three suspects entered the store and were asked for ID. The male suspect proceeded to damage the till monitor while the two female suspects grabbed several bottles of liquor.

The suspects fled from the store on foot in an unknown direction with the liquor bottles. No physical injuries were sustained by the employee in the robbery. The suspects were not located.

Surveillance footage has been obtained and Gleichen RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects.
