On Dec. 6, 2025, at 11:30 a.m., a female was shopping in downtown Killam on 50^th street. Upon returning to her vehicle, she observed a male committing an indecent act, exposing himself, and trying to gain her attention in doing so. Killam RCMP investigated and were able to identify the male.

As a result of the investigation, Gannen Stanyer (21), a resident of Sedgewick, Alta., was arrested and charged with:

• Indecent act;

• Indecent exhibition;

• Nudity;

• Breach of probation order related to prior indecent acts; and

• Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

STANYER was brought before a justice of the peace and released on conditions, to appear before the Alberta Court of Justice in Killam on Jan. 6, 2025.
