Leduc RCMP lay charges following drug trafficking investigation

Leduc, Alta. – In July of 2025, Leduc RCMP Stryke Team began a drug trafficking investigation in the area of Leduc.

 

On Aug. 21, a search warrant was executed at a residence in Leduc. A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of cocaine, methamphetamine, psilocybin, a quantity of canadian currency, digital scales, drug packaging materials, and equipment items used to produce a controlled substance.

 

Kevin Vansickle (39), a resident of Leduc, was arrested and charged with the following:

 

  • Trafficking a controlled substance

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance

  • Possession of a controlled substance

  • Production of a controlled substance

  • Driving while unauthorized

  • Fail to comply with a Release Order condition X 2

 

Vansickle was taken before a Justice of the Peace and released on a release order with conditions and  is scheduled to appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in Leduc on on Aug. 28, 2025.
