2025 Federal and Municipal Elections - Canada 2.0
Our nation is turning out to be startlingly different than what we once believed. Canada is/was supposed to be a "constitutional monarchy, with strong traditions of democracy" and a promise of good and respectful governance.
On that basis and in good faith, generations of Canadians have pledged their loyal cooperation; building a nation and even laying down their lives. This informal but much relied on social contract is now being revised by our government ...without public discussion, consultation or consent! In fact, we are told that we MUST by necessity accept “a reset” to some ambiguous thing called a “post national state.” However, this revision is threatening to eclipse every understanding we ever had about our society, nation and government.
The duplicity of this imposition threatens to impact the entirety of Canadian life as we know it, fostering tensions between people and raising questions about confidence in our government. Some people insist on loyal compliance, others stoically hope to quietly and passively endure. And significant sectors of society are actively considering alternatives to the entire system. These diverse and conflicting sentiments are real and require education, discussion and consensus of resolution.
When candidates run for Council in Alberta, it is impressed on them that; "municipalities only exist at the pleasure of the province," that public representation is a noble but powerless sentiment and that all allegiance leads to “The Crown.” This is a systemic problem because those who are sworn to keep “The Crown’s secrets” are compromised in their accountability to the public!
It may surprise many to learn that the combined articles of our Nation actually mandate Canadian citizens to consolidate a proper structure that is built from the ground up, not from the top down! This largely ignored right and responsibility lays untended before Canadians of all regions and has never more relevant in Battle River Crowfoot and in Alberta than now. Please consider this in light of the important by-election August 18, and for all the Municipal elections October 20, 2025. Support and VOTE for Candidates who understand the importance of
rebuilding Canada 2.0!
