The proclamation recognizing the month of September for Alberta Culture Days was signed by the Town of Stettler and County of Stettler Aug. 29.

Alberta Culture Days is a month-long celebration of arts, heritage and community spirit, organized in partnership with local community groups. The initiative encourages Albertans to explore, share and enjoy arts and culture by taking part in events and activities held throughout the province.

In the previous year, nearly 247,000 people participated in celebrations, with more than 62 communities hosting events designed to foster awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement in cultural life.
