On Sept. 16, 2026, at 3 a.m., Tofield RCMP were informed of a structure fire at the Tofield Towing building on 51 Avenue. RCMP members, Tofield Fire department, and a Fire investigator attended the scene. Initial investigation suggests that the fire was deliberately set around 2:55 a.m., with a White Chevrolet Silverado noted around the building between 2:20 a.m. and 2:55 a.m. The cause of this fire remains under investigation.

Tofield RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in furthering the investigation.
