Grande Prairie RCMP requests public assistance in armed robbery

Grande Prairie, Alta. – On Feb. 13, 2026, Grande Prairie RCMP and Grande Prairie Police Service (GPPS) responded to the scene of an armed robbery that had just taken place. Grande Prairie RCMP Police Dog Services as well as Forensic Identification Section attended the scene but the suspect was not located and left no fingerprints behind. During the course of the investigation, video surveillance was obtained.

 

The suspect, who was carrying a pink “switch blade style” knife, was described as:

  • Pale complexion;

  • 6 feet, 1 inch;

  • Hazel eyes; and

  • Last seen wearing a green hoodie, camo face mask, grey sweatpants, and brown or black boots with white soles.

 

Grande Prairie RCMP and GPPS are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to this incident.
