The Stettler Variety Showcase brought Michael Harrison and his Ventastic show to Stettler on March 22, delivering an afternoon and evening of lively, family-friendly entertainment at the Stettler Performing Arts Centre. The afternoon performance drew a packed crowd with more than 35 children in attendance, while the evening show also saw a strong turnout.

Throughout both performances, Harrison leaned heavily on audience interaction, inviting participants on stage and shaping material in real time. His quick improvisation and ability to adapt to each individual generated frequent cheers and sustained laughter. From engaging children to involving adults, he maintained a steady pace that kept the audience attentive. The material remained family friendly and, even when it edged toward more mature territory, it was delivered with sharp comedic timing.

The show concluded with a standing ovation.

Harrison is a veteran Canadian entertainer with more than 30 years of experience delivering interactive, family-oriented performances. His shows blend comedy, magic and eccentric characters, a format that has made him a regular at fairs and festivals across North America. Known for his high-energy stage presence and strong audience engagement, his work focuses on broad appeal humour that connects with audiences of all ages.
