Hardisty, Alta. - On Feb. 9, 2026, around 4 p.m., Killam/Forestburg RCMP were dispatched to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 13 at 49 Street in Hardisty. A detour was established while units responded and conducted their investigation.
Initial investigation suggests a pickup truck was turning eastbound onto Highway 13 when it was struck by a semi grain hauler traveling westbound.
