Parkland RCMP investigate youth assault

On June 8, 2026, Parkland RCMP received a report of an assault that occurred at approximately 7:37 p.m., outside of convenience store near Spruce Village Drive W in Spruce Grove. Through investigation, it was learned that the victim and a friend were outside the store when two unknown suspects approached and began striking the female victim while she was sitting on the sidewalk, leaving the victim with minor injuries. When a witness drove on scene the two suspects stopped and left the area.


One female suspect is described as:


  • Approximately 15-17 years of age,

  • Slim build,

  • Shoulder length hair,

  • Wearing grey sweatpants and a black jacket with hood pulled over head,

  • Carrying black backpack.


The second female suspect is described as:


  • Approximately 15-17 years of age,

  • Slim build,

  • Should length brown hair,

  • Wearing a large purple/burgundy t-shirt and long black shorts.
