Wood Buffalo RCMP investigate theft of vehicle, suspects sought

On Mar. 8, 2026 at approximately 7:22am, Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to a complaint that a 2020 grey Honda CRV (Licence Plate CMK 0785) was stolen while it was parked on the upper floor of the underground parking of 13000 block of MacDonald Drive, in the downtown area of Fort McMurray. The vehicle was locked.


Surveillance footage of the parking area was obtained by RCMP, and an unknown male was observed in the area around 4:15am. The male is described as approximately 25 years of age, brown hair, wearing a brown winter toque, orange scarf covering his face and a long black winter jacket, blue jeans and black boots.
